Road Safety Bumper Stickers

In 2006 WSOTR designed bumper stickers focused on highlighting the presence of wildlife on Kangaroo Island roads.

Road accidents involving wildlife is also a focus area for Road Safety Kangaroo Island (RSKI) and they were keen to support this initiative.

Wrong Side of the Road aims to address related conservation and road safety issues through the development and support of a variety of projects on Kangaroo Island. Hopefully some ideas will filter through to other rural communities with similar issues.

The sticker launch had local media coverage thanks to The Islander newspaper. Over 5000 stickers were made available to both the local community and visitors to Kangaroo Island for free. They were distributed from numerous businesses and police across the Island to whom we send a big thank you! This effort continues on an annual basis prior to the island’s peak tourism season.
